Little Gent

François

François was inspired by the book, The Little Prince, by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Saint-Exupéry was not only an author, but a pilot and an adventurer. In fact, he delivered mail by plane in many places around the world. Saint-Exupéry also had a brother, François, who died at the age of fifteen with his older brother Antoine (age 17) at his side. This passing was echoed in the The Little Prince as the Prince himself fell away near the end of the story. My little François has a magnet in his hand so he can hold his little letter, which has a magnet inside.

François’s little envelopes are made from a free printable from Bees Knees Industries, at; https://www.beeskneesindustries.com/. They are super easy to cut out and fold into shape. I printed mine in a reduced size of 40%, 50%, and 60%, so I would have three sizes.

François’s botanical is the rose, and his animal friend is a fox.
