Change is in the air. A big change for those of you who follow me on social media. For a number of reasons I have decided to leave social media…a few being:
– A huge time drain that keeps me from focusing on my art and life. And I feel like I’ll regret the time spent on social media compared to real life as I get older.
– Lack of privacy due to AI.
– I don’t want to provide free content for Facebook and Instagram who are making billions of the backs of their users while openly collecting as much personal data as they can.
– I don’t want to have my thoughts and ideas stolen by businesses pretending to be me, or just stealing my work, photos, and ideas.
– Being harassed by users who have ulterior motives.
– And, although there are wonderful and inspiring things posted, there is also a lot of negativity and misinformation.
So there you have it. I know that leaving could harm any public interest in what I am doing as an artist. People tend not to look at blogs and websites when they have everything laid out in one place on social media. It’s a risk I’m willing to take.

Per my January 2026 post, I am still in the midst of focusing on family and health. I do have many projects planned for this year, but I will being working on them over a long period of time. I do plan to create at least one post containing new work and ideas each month, so please check back in every so often.
