wool dolls

Erica Daley Dolls

My little wool dolls were born from an idea to create the cutest little dolls possible. A doll with a sweet disposition that would feel like a tiny friend. Most importantly, a doll that lived in the human world…not a doll world…think Arrietty from The Borrowers. My dolls are meant to sit on old wooden sewing spools, to drink from acorn cups, and to sleep under a handkerchief on your night stand.

Erica Daley Dolls are one hundred percent handmade…no sewing machines (except on some of the tiny clothes). They are gently poseable as their arms and legs are internally wired. For this reason the dolls are only made for adult collectors…definitely not for children. Each doll is numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity. All of the dolls on this page are 1:6 scale, just like the original Hitty dolls. To read more about my dolls, please see the main menu, but for now, enjoy some of my favorite dolls that I have made over the past few years.

To purchase…all little lady and little gent wool dolls are $125.00 and cashmere dolls are $150. All dolls are special order only at this time. I only create a few ready to ship dolls each year. Please send me a message if you’d like to be on my email list.

The photo below illustrates doll sizes… standing at 6 1/4 inches (like all Hitty dolls) the ‘little lady’ doll is in the arms of the ‘lady’ doll, who is 8 inches tall. The ‘lady’ doll is approximately Barbie sized, and when paired with the ‘little lady’ doll, she is the ‘adult’. But, the ‘little lady’ doll can be the ‘adult’ doll when paired with the child size dolls.
